Gerry is a publicity and partnerships expert with vast experience and exceptional relationships within the music and media industries, which have seen her run publicity campaigns for some of the biggest music festivals and radio and TV outlets in Australia, including triple j, Double J, triple j Unearthed, rage and ABC TV.

In her 13 years as triple j Publicist, Gerry managed national media campaigns for the triple j Hottest 100, Ausmusic Month, the J Awards, Requestival, regional concert series triple j’s One Night Stand and heaps more. Gerry also played an integral role in launching digital radio stations, Double J and triple j Unearthed, as well as built profiles for triple j and Double J presenters via interviews, conferences, festival appearances and presenting awards at the ARIAs.
Gerry has also curated over one thousand triple j partnerships, including tours, festivals and outside broadcasts, such as Splendour In The Grass, Laneway Festival, BIGSOUND, Spilt Milk, Groovin The Moo, Field Day, Listen Out, Unify, THIS THAT, Yours & Owls and countless local and international tours. As part of this, she produced unique branding opportunities like merchandise, physical and digital signage, a large scale inflatable triple j drum and the triple j mascot. In addition, Gerry has also worked with presenters, artists and influencers to pair them with like-minded brands, resulting in wide reach for Hottest 100 charity partners, as well as triple j and rage.
With live music and events being Gerry’s biggest passion, she ran the annual J Awards events, Unearthed Showcases at BIGSOUND, Melbourne Music Week, Live At The Steps and ARIA Week, as well as presenter parties like Matt & Alex’s 5-Raves-in-5-Days.
Gerry also strives to do GOOD, like adding diversity guidelines to triple j partnerships, playing a key part in moving the date of triple j’s Hottest 100 away from 26 January, running national campaigns encouraging young people to vote in Federal Elections and the Same-Sex Marriage plebiscite, plus raise millions of dollars for charities like AIME and Lifeline through Hottest 100 partnerships. She also played a vital role in the creation of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day, which has gone on to raise much needed funds for Support Act and countless Australian artists.
